It is that wonderful time of year again in New York City, crisp fall air and the smell of excitement for the International Bridal Market. This week and I am thrilled to be previewing some of my favorite designer’s on the runway. I will not be in the office and an absentee blogger, but what I will be, is in a New York state of mind

Events, Field Trip, Wedding StyleAs the 2011 wedding season comes to an end, all of us at DSE are getting ready for some fun events, workshops, and holiday parties!
Next month I have the honor of styling a fabulous 16th birthday party for a super fun client! The theme is Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, and to honor the occasion the team and I created this vision board and color palette.
I am beyond excited to say that I am teaming up with Paper Antler Photography for an amazing give-away called the Fifty Nifty ! Paper Antler is traveling the entire US (make sure you check out their promo vid.) to photograph weddings around the country.
For each wedding they photograph, in all 50 states next year, they will donate to She Dances an anti-human trafficking organization to raise a total of $50,000!!

EventsIn exactly one month begins our 2011 wedding season! I am so excited for another summer of weddings and events and this year is by far the most fun (well, it gets better every year). I love being able to take weddings on the Cape and Islands to a whole other level thus year, it is fun beyond words. To get every one in the spirit here is a Cape Cod inspired wedding board. Nothing says Cape Cod like the Kennedy’s and the ocean!
