Desiree Spinner Events Baby and Kids!

We have a big announcement at Desiree Spinner Events.  I am proud to finally say that we are now offering a branch of services dedicated to baby and children’s parties!  After a successful few years of planning and styling baby showers, first birthdays and kids parties I knew it was time to reach out and develop this side of DSE.  With the help of our friends Lisa and Elaine at Hello Designers, she took our already amazing logo and turned it into a gender neutral/kid friendly design that I love and am so excited to show off.  We also worked together to create a a brochure for the new services, separate from DSE wedding and events.  I could not be more happy with the outcome and I hope you will all love it too.  Take a peek at the brochure showed below, with some help by Lisa’s ADORABLE baby boy, Julien.

Special thanks to the amazing photographers and vendors featured in the brochure.

Connecticut Lawn Club Wedding

I am off to New Haven, Connecticut Thanksgiving morning to celebrate with my wonderful in-laws but also, for the wedding of Courtney and Leo (so psyched).

Courtney and I are both not only UCONN alum’s, but we are also sorority sisters!  I was so honored when she wanted me to be involved with the planning, her style is impeccable and effortlessly classic.  She has been the most amazingly organized bride EVER!  Sara and I have enjoyed every single second and cannot believe it will be over after next week.

This wedding is sure to be unforgettable, and especially with the talents of Raw Photo Design behind the lens. Take a peek at the engagement session they had with Courtney and Leo last winter in New Haven. SWOON!

All of the vendors involved have been a dream to work with and I am excited to be side by side with them this weekend.  I hope that we will all get to work together again soon!

Have a safe and fabulous Thanksgiving every one!!

xoxo Desiree

Thanksgiving Wardrobe Inspiration

A few days before Thanksgiving, I remember that I need to put my leggings back in my closet (tear) and pull out something super cute, classy and fun.  My husband and  I travel to Connecticut to share the holiday with his family and being that they are so stylish (it’s not fair how close to NYC shopping they are) I thought I would get in gear early.

This year is extra special because Sara and I are both going to be in CT for the wedding of our amazing clients Courtney and Leo who are getting married on the 27th.  I need to pack some extra comfy and fashionable ensembles for the week :)

Here are some of my favorites and hopefully it will give you some inspiration when you dig through your closet this year!

The Knot Gala

I was psyched when Leila of Be Inspired PR asked me to attend the Knot gala with her:)  It was a surreal experience, meeting so many other wedding professionals that I have admired since starting Desiree Spinner Events.  Here are some photos from the event taken by the amazingly talented photographers from Christian Oth Studo.

NYC or Bust!

Sara and I packed up the car and headed to New York City to shoot a holiday piece for Rue Magazine.  We can’t wait for the issue to come out and reveal the dream team that worked on this with us.  Until then here is a peak of the car filled to the top!
